If you haven’t seen Becki and Chris’ “Heading: EAST” helicopter travel series, it is absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t get enough of it as it came out. As part of the series, they recorded two podcast episodes on a set in their basement studio. In this video, they explain how they designed and built their set.

So, I love these videos because they show the thought that goes into designing, building, and lighting a quality studio set. Becki and Chris aren’t carpenters, but they are interested in design and willing to put in the effort to make beautiful sets–and they do have beautiful sets.
